i went to chapmans for just a power run, cost me about $70 for 3 runs.

i have heard that barnes aren't that great but that is just what i have heard from a couple of people, im not baggin them,

but ur best bet may be just to take it to a dyno comp and stick it on there as their prices are usually lower (i did one cost me $35 for 2 runs) and u might even get the prize for least power!!!!

haha

Go barnes if you have a v8.

Chapmans I wouldn't take my car there.

I go to coastal dynos In bribie ...

And a good dyno tuner would charger 100$ a hour. So $79 Is cheap...
also dave why do you need to tune your car??

dave, Just my 2 cents it's a waste of cash doing a dyno run..

You can basically work it out if there 100hp then what ever the xhaust set up is worth in hp... it's not worth 100+ dollars.. when it's stock..

Just my thoughts man.

orrrr, you could go to a dyno comp and pay $35 or $40 just for a power figure, and then start your mods so u have a before and after.

definately dont need to pay near $100 just for power run

why spend the money for a basically stock read out?

doesn't make sense to me! Maybe for a tune yes. for a read out no.

just to satisfy curiosity, and also its interesting if u are performing mods, to see what sort of gains you are having.

i did a power run made 162kw at the rears and then fixed an exhaust leak and went to a dyno comp and made 170kw at the rears

it's a joke.. but if u's want to waste cash then up to u..

it was $35, i fixed the exhaust leak myself so that only cost me the cost of a gasket and my time, plus all the fat pizza boys were at the dyno comp, and promo chicks and some f'in awesome cars, plus i won a dvd, hat and 2 free tickets to jambo (both days) so yes, i would say it was well worth the money
