ok here are some facts: its not always about how much power you got its about the delivery of the power too, also if you had heaps of power with a fiar bit of torque you would fry your tyres! look around at wreckers if you want a engine or better yet try the trading post you are bound to pick one up for much cheaper as they are common whores. Also you gotta consider the mod plating and shit you can get into with the new laws now days... cops are pricks..But every one for their own eh, personally i would be going for a much better engine then that...

If you had the cash, you can buy a brand new L67 crate motor.

Thats the Supercharged 3.8l V6. in a lancer would be absolutely insane..... Smile

Then throw another 5gs at it and it will be a monster.

Evo motor would be alot better imo. Guessing it would be lighter and alot less custom work to get it to fit? Probly both work out same price with evo motor more power? My 2cents

Yer evo would be heaps more xpensive to buy the engine, but less to install.

but 3.8ltr would be cheaper to buy the engine, more to put in.. also be completely diff as no one has done It.

and his on his P's so he can't have a turbo.

If u really want a fast lancer just save the coin and buy an evo Smile Way less fkn around and u dont have to worry about traction probs.
